About Lydia

Lydia (Ritter) Diffenderfer is a green witch photographer living in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania with her husband Troy and their dog, Bowie.

Unable to solidify a college degree, she had always found herself pondering what her life's true calling would be. She considered art, which she has classical training in, to be the most obvious option. However, the term "starving artist" doesn't exist without reason. In order to pay the bills, she tabled chasing dreams and settled in to a job leading a small team for a local cleaning business. That is until an extended weekend vacation to her family cabin in the mountains of Potter County, PA with her mother and sister changed everything.

Armed with a Nikon D3400 (lovingly named "Adejean") she shares with her sister Christina, she began shooting away as her sister, a talented and experienced chef and bushcrafter, set about preparing pork fried rice over their campfire for dinner. The photos impressed all three women that evening, causing them all to wish for seconds and thirds of the dish, and Lydia's dream was realized: She was going to become a photographer. She knew that the moment she returned home, she would hit the ground running to begin the journey towards a new and exciting career and passion.

Lydia hopes that you will come along with her on this journey, and that her photos and/or musings (found under her blog tab) will inspire you as well.
